While there are a countless number of gear manufacturers throughout the globe, they all share one thing in common; their use of decades-old gear-design methodologies. Like sheep in a herd, they are unwilling to modernise and adapt to the significant advances made with 21st Century technology. Modern manufacturing techniques and technologies have advanced to the point that what were once simply
theories (some even centuries old) now have significant practical applications.
Through the extensive use of AI integration, we aim to turn what were once theories into practice. Instead of an army of textbook mechanical engineers running our R&D department telling us what we can and cannot do, we employ a network of AI supercomputers to assist in our research and development. Not only does this significantly cut down on development time and costs, it provides us with the ability to design and manufacture state-of-the-art components to the uppermost limit of our global manufacturing partners' capabilities.
History
Born out of the frustrations with red-tape corporate, OZ Performance Drivetrain is a partnership founded in 2024 by a small team of engineers as a primary service provider to the performance drivetrain industry. Hugely instrumental in the establishment and success of their previous endeavours, their desire to leave behind the manufacturing industry and concentrate primarily on R&D marks a new era for the performance drivetrain industry.
Headquartered in Australia, our location affords us convenient access to global manufacturing and logistical chains, whilst allowing us to quickly meet the demands and requirements of our clientele irrespective of language and timezone. Infact, our design, manufacturing and communication capabilities are so extensive that it is near-impossible for our more traditional competitors to offer a like-for-like service and product without costing several times the initial investment.
With over 20 years of commercial production development experience, through the use of industry leading design software alongside our own proprietary gearing tools & equipment, our In-House R&D Department undertake detailed product development and manufacturing analysis to ensure only the best quality and performing product is delivered.
Design & Development
As a fully bespoke service company, we work with our clientele down to the smallest technical details to meet their requirements, from gear-tooth profiling to control noise-levels and drivetrain efficiency, to grade of steel used to maximise drivetrain strength and durability. Unlike with our competitors, our clientele have full control over every step of the design and development stage to ensure the resulting product meets their exact requirements, helping to save both time and money.
